I have recently become a Solution Architect and now have to work with Unix, Windows (VMware), Database, and Storage to come up with the solution architecture documents. I come from a very AS/400 centric background so this new role takes some getting used to. It also means that I have to learn a lot of new acronyms and terminology. That’s where Wikipedia come in. I just type in the word in the search bar and fire away. Sometimes you come upon something unexpected like the entry for LUN (it is related to storage). No wonder why all the Indians laugh when they are talking about storage and how big it is ![]()
